Our Team

Janina Guarino

Janina is the Executive Director at Better Decisions Counseling in Sacramento, California. For the last 28 years, Ms. Guarino has worked in the substance abuse and mental health field specializing in children, veterans, and Native Americans afflicted by all kinds of problems, from alcohol to gambling. Ms. Guarino provided alcohol and drug services as Compliance Monitor for Maximus Board of Registered Nurses Drug Diversion Program, as a State of California Drug and Alcohol Investigator, and now as a counselor for various programs. She cares deeply about providing quality service in a supportive space.
